Artist Statement
Survival and joy hinge on resistance when forces outside your control want to see you fail. Collage, and creating art as a whole, is an act of resistance that often cannot be resisted. When you have an idea that needs to be expressed or something important you have to say, there’s no resting until you get it out of your head and you let it. This is your survival, this is your resistance. Let it consume you.

MG is a nonbinary multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Southern California. They own a hair salon and their focus in all matters is bringing people together and encouraging the truest form of the self in all people. We fin our community where we find ourselves.
